okay nothing special
I'm a vegetarian and it was too difficult to change the 'standard' breakfast offered so I only used the free option it once
more comfortable bed, better lighting, somewhere to sit in the lobby area, another microwave - one is insufficient for a hotel.

What was the highlight of APA Hotel Akihabara Ekihigashi
Great value for money and location
The location of this hotel was very good as it was very close to Akihabara so, you could take the train on the Yamanote line or the Chūō-Sōbu to reach any part of Tokyo in no time. The room was very clean and the staff nice.
The room size was decent but it might be a bit small for two people and there was only one elevator so, you might need to wait a while until you manage to get into it, but that's common in APA hotels. Apart from that, everything was great.

Welcome drink for first night only? Don’t be stingy, I stay over a week, please give free 2 bottles per night. My room has TV on the side of the bed, bad Last time I stayed at a different room on the same floor, TV on the wall far away

What was the highlight of APA Hotel Akihabara Ekihigashi
Wonderful
It was a very nice, big, soft bed with a large TV, making for excellent sleep. Check-in was quick, and we didn't need to go through those stupid screens like other properties. Its distance from Akiba means there aren't any crowds outside, which makes it feel like a safe location. It's also relatively close to the Wash n Fold in Chiyoda.
I wouldn't say I liked their annoying snack purchase system. I don't know why you don't just use a barcode and self-checkout instead of making your proprietary system. I have to learn. I didn't like that I needed to hook up their WiFi in order to use the apps on the TV. I don't trust accommodation WiFi, and I couldn't even connect through my VPN, so despite the large TV, I couldn't use it.
